Overview

Facts, Documented Properly

Most investigations are won or lost on the quality of the record, not the drama of the finding.

Delta conducts private investigations, litigation research and support, pre-employment background checks and accident investigations for attorneys, employers, insurers, property owners and private individuals across California. Every assignment produces a written report: what was observed, when, where, by whom, and by what method — supported by video, stills and documents retained with their metadata intact.

We are equally direct about the limits. Evidence gathered unlawfully is worse than no evidence at all, because it can taint a case and expose the client who paid for it. We work within the statutes that govern this profession, and we will tell you plainly when what you want cannot be obtained legally.

Licensed and accountable

Reports written as factual records, with chain of custody preserved and investigators available to testify.

We do not disclose clients, cases or the existence of an engagement.

Capabilities

What We Investigate

Surveillance

Covert static and mobile surveillance with time-stamped video and stills, and an activity log that matches the footage.

Litigation Research & Support

Investigative support for counsel: witness location and interviews, records retrieval, asset and public-record research, service support and trial preparation.

Pre-Employment Background Checks

Employment, education and licensing verification, criminal and civil record research, and reference interviews — conducted to FCRA and California ICRAA requirements.

Accident Investigations

Vehicle collisions, premises liability and workplace incidents: scene documentation and measurement, photography, vehicle and equipment inspection, and witness statements taken while memories are fresh.

Insurance Investigations

Workers’ compensation, liability and disability claims — activity checks, claimant surveillance, canvassing and recorded statements.

Locates & Skip Tracing

Locating witnesses, heirs, debtors and parties who have become hard to find, combining lawful databases with field work.

Workplace Investigations

Internal theft, time fraud, policy violations and misconduct complaints, investigated and documented for HR or counsel.

Due Diligence & Fraud

Verification of people and businesses before a partnership, investment or major contract, and documentation of suspected fraud to a standard that supports referral or civil action.

Threat & Harassment Matters

Identifying and documenting stalking, harassment and threats to support a restraining order — with protective coverage available if the situation warrants it.

What we will not do

We do not pretext for financial or telephone records, pull credit reports without a permissible purpose, place trackers or recording devices unlawfully, trespass, or impersonate law enforcement.

These are not house rules. They are federal and California law, and the reason our reports remain usable.

Engaging Us

How a Case Starts

The first conversation is confidential, and it costs nothing.

  1. Tell us the objective

Not the theory — the question you need answered and the decision it will inform.

  2. Scope and written estimate

We define what will be attempted, by what method, and the estimated hours. You approve it before anything begins.

  3. Investigation

Field work and records research, with progress reported as it develops rather than only at the end.

  4. Written report

A factual record with supporting media, prepared so counsel can use it and an investigator can testify to it.
