Privacy Policy

What we collect through this website, why, and what we do not do with it.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

This policy covers deltaps.org, the website of Delta Private Security Services, Inc.. It describes what the site collects, why, who it is shared with, and what choices you have.

The short version

  • We collect only what you type into a form, plus the minimum technical data needed to run the site securely.
  • We do not use advertising trackers, analytics profiling or third-party marketing cookies on this site.
  • We do not sell or share your personal information, as those terms are defined by California law.
  • Form submissions are delivered to us by email and used to answer you or consider you for employment — nothing else.

Information you give us

Contact form

When you send a message through our contact form we collect your name, and optionally your company or organization, together with your email address, telephone number, the service you are asking about, the city or area to be covered, and the content of your message.

Employment application form

When you apply for a position we collect your name, email address, telephone number, the position you are applying for, your California guard card status, whether you hold a BSIS exposed firearms permit, whether you identify as a veteran or a member of a military family, the hours you are seeking, the areas you can work, any notes you provide, and any resume you choose to attach.

Please do not submit sensitive personal information through this website — including Social Security numbers, dates of birth, driver's license numbers, financial account details or medical information. Our forms do not ask for any of it. Where information of that kind is legally required later in a hiring or licensing process, we will collect it from you separately and securely.

Information collected automatically

  • Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard web server request data, which can include IP address, the page requested, the time, and browser user agent. These logs are used for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention.
  • Abuse prevention. When a form is submitted we record a one-way cryptographic hash of the submitting IP address so we can rate limit repeated submissions. The hash cannot be reversed back into an address, and these records expire automatically.
  • Session cookie. The site sets a single strictly necessary cookie (DPSSESS) so a form can verify that the submission came from the page we served. It contains no personal information, expires when you close your browser, and cannot be used to track you across other websites.

We do not use Google Analytics or any comparable analytics product on this site, and we set no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Service providers

Two third parties process data on our behalf when you use this site:

  • Twilio SendGrid delivers form submissions to us by email. The content of your submission passes through their systems.
  • Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms from automated abuse. Google collects hardware and software information and interaction data from your device to distinguish you from a bot. Use of reCAPTCHA is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Our website hosting provider necessarily stores the site and its logs on its servers. We do not otherwise disclose your information to third parties except where we are required to by law, or where disclosure is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

Contact inquiries are retained for as long as needed to answer you and to maintain a record of our business correspondence. Employment applications are retained in line with the record-keeping periods required of employers under federal and California law, after which they are destroyed. Rate-limiting records expire within hours. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention schedule.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are protected by anti-forgery tokens and automated-abuse controls, and are transmitted to us over encrypted connections. Resume attachments are relayed by email and are not stored in the website's public file tree. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — which is exactly why our forms do not ask for sensitive identifiers.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, gives you the right to:

  • Know what personal information we have collected about you, and the purposes for which it is used
  • Request deletion of personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

To make a request, email info@deltaps.org or call (559) 507-2076. We will need enough information to verify that the request is genuinely yours before we act on it. Note that some information — particularly records connected to employment or to a regulated security assignment — may be subject to retention obligations that limit our ability to delete it.

Children

This website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

This site links to third-party resources such as the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services and the Department of Consumer Affairs. We do not control those sites and this policy does not apply to them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be summarized here.
