About Delta Private Security
A veteran-owned California private patrol operator and licensed private investigator, regulated by the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services.
Delta Private Security Services, Inc. provides contract security officers, executive protection, private investigations, BSIS-approved training and Live Scan services throughout California.
The company was founded in 2014 by Damien Draconum, a United States military veteran, and remains veteran owned and operated. Delta serves commercial, residential, industrial and event clients statewide.
Delta operates under California Private Patrol Operator license PPO 120155 and holds Bureau Approved Trainer certifications for both Security Guard (ATG 2871) and Proprietary Private Security Officer (ATP 131) programs. Holding trainer certifications alongside the operating license means our officers are trained in house, to our own standard, rather than to whatever a third-party course happens to cover.
Investigations
Delta is also a licensed California private investigator, operating under PI 188360. That side of the practice covers surveillance, litigation research and support, pre-employment background checks and accident investigations, and it is staffed and supervised separately from the uniformed division.
Two licenses under one roof is genuinely useful to clients: the same firm can document a problem and then post an officer to deal with it — a harassment case investigated and evidenced, then covered protectively, without handing the file to a second company.

Unannounced field post checks and field training officers for every new hire.
